first_imgBhutan Airlines has begun flying to Bodh Gaya, catering to the Buddhist pilgrimage market.The airline, effective from December 4, 2016, would fly from Bangkok and Paro to the UNESCO-listed heritage site in the Indian state of Bihar, which is said to be where the Lord Buddha gained enlightenment.Flights would operate twice a week (every Wednesday and Sunday) on a seasonal basis, ending on February 26, 2017. A 122-seat Airbus A319 aircraft would be deployed on the route.The airline already flies between Bangkok and Kolkata and would compete with THAI Smile on the Bangkok-Bodh Gaya route.last_img

(WSVN) – A collision between a white Ford F-150 pickup truck and a Tri-Rail train have blocked traffic in Opa-locka, Wednesday.Miami-Dade Fire Rescue and Opa-locka Police responded to the scene in the area of Ali Baba Avenue and Opa-locka Boulevard, just before 5 p.m.Westbound Opa-locka boulevard is now blocked at Ali Baba Avenue, while eastbound lanes remain open.According to officials, the pickup truck was traveling westbound on Opa-locka Boulevard when the guard rail caught the rear of the truck. The train struck the truck, which then hit another car, police said.The driver of the pickup truck was cited for violation of traffic control.No injuries have been reported.It is recommended that motorists seek alternative routes while officials investigate in the area. The scene should be clearing shortly. last_img
